Kyb Agx?

I'm looking into purchasing set of four KYB AGX Gas Shox off of group buy for $335. These have the 8 position adjusting with the screwdrive on'em. Any information on these. Also are these just fine for my suspension or should I also be purchasing a set of springs (Eibach Pro Kit) to put over them? What will the advantage be with adding the spring set to'em? Can you adjust or lower the car w/ just the shocks or do you have to have the springs also? Any comments or suggestions are appreciated first big buy for my car. Lookin for a good price think it's well worth it...prolly would wait till after winter to put'em on. Ideas?

You'll need new springs to lower the car. The KYB AGX are good struts, but only for a ~1.5" drop or less.

they just have the damper adjustablilty (ride comfort/soft or hard). match em with the ground control coilovers. Since youre a daily driver you could raise the car up more when it snows (and I know it does in wisconsin) and put it lower again when you want to go blingin in the summer.

If I was going with something still like GC coilovers, it would be better to have Koni yellows. If you're on a budget, the AGX will still work though.

What difference do the Koni yellows make?....also what is a good price for GC Coilovers....I'm planning on using groupbuy it really caught my eye when i actually took time to look at stuff. Everything seems reasonably cheaper. Any bad experiences through groupbuy?

Better all around strut, 5 way externally adjustable (I know the AGX are 8? way)... they can handle larger drops, more robust, etc. Around $550 for four.

they're good, for non adjustables..

eGay has 2 sets of Koni yellows that are buy it now for less than 500 if youre wanting to get shocks now that'd be a sweet deal. both are the yellow sports and are new in box. I'd buy them but i dont do eGay to much anymore becuase of what happened the last time I tried to buy shocks on it. But if you buy it now you wont have a problem.
