What kind of power does a B20 put out? I've heard like 220hp is that right. Thanks

Depends on the cams, how well it's built (read- redline). Remember that power is nothing more than the product of torque and RPM. So (assuming a flat torque curve), an engine that redlines at 9K will make 50% more power than one that redlines at 6K, on paper.

This question is impossible to answer, really. You'd have the B16A's redline, since that's the ecu you would use, but the B20 block won't handle those RPMs cebcause of the poor rod ratio. If you built the block to handle RPMs and ran stock cams, maybe 160hp to the wheels.

Thanks for the info I've been hearing things like if you bolt a B20 to B16 head you can get like 220 at the wheels and it didn't make any sence(sp?) to me. Thanks for the Info.
