bouncy ride

i just installed my coilover sleeves, which I know that I should have gotten full coilover system-but I a poor college student. Anyways the ride is really bumpy when I go over rolling bumps like on the freeway. The whole car just bumps horribly over the rollers. If I cut the bump stops down(about 50%), I have a feeling that it is maybe riding on the bump stops. any ways any info will help

P.S. I am getting new shocks in a little bit but I dont have the funds right now

Well, do what the instructions say with the bumpstops. I think the majority of the problem is that you're riding on stock struts. Change them out for high quality ones and you'll be less bouncy.

LOL, I'm not a good enough set of instructions to go by. Messing with your suspension should be left to someone who knows what they're doing... what kind of sleeves did you get?

you are probably bouncing off the bumpstops - i have coilover sleeves too *vomit* and i cut the bumpstops in half. id cut yours in half - less chance of bouncing off the bumpstop.

I cut a portion of my stops when I put my CO on..It will help your ride..Also it will depend on how low you are riding but a save for the shocks/strus should be done to assist w/ a better ride...
