You dont have the cord pulled to tight, and its making the mouse move slowly do you? Ive had it do that to me before too. Kinda freaky at first.

I've got a Stinkpad with the stupid little track point thingy (I hate those!) and it moves by itself all the time.

i got plenty of slack in the wire.

its just a normal Dell mouse with a dell mouse pad, i'll be reading something then all of a sudden the arrow will move half way across the screen on its own.

take the ball out and look at the contact rollers. scrap the dirt and grime off of them with a mechnaical pencil or screwdriver.

Cleaning the ball in warm soapy water helps too.

Be sure to check for viruses with updated av software.

i seriously doubt its somebody fukin with him. likely a hardware problem on his end. try a different mouse just to test.

Ive had it to it to me, go into your control panel and recalibrate your mouse. It'll work, if not, look into buying that optical they are cooler anyway.

you could try turning your comp off then unplug and then plug it back in...its not a virus/backdoor/person messing with you....they'd do more than move your mouse around.

Go with the optical tho....much much better...you'll love it

your mouse is haunted. get someone to come to your house to perform an exorist on your computer.

Question has already been answered, try to recalibrate your mouse, or just go buy a brand new optical one. I have an optical logitech mouse that i got for $20
