What do you think of my latest installs under the hood?

I took the heat shield off the exhaust manifold so I could hit the nuts/bolts with rust eater. That way I can install my turbo manifold easier when I have my complete custom turbo setup.
Oh yes, it WILL be a fun summer!!!!

Here's mine, I was going to get a FPR but I bought a SUPER AFC instead. What kinda turbo you installing? Garrett, Mitsubishi????

It is a Garrett turbo, straight T3 60 trim with a .48 A/R stage 3 exhaust housing. It is going to spool quick and boost hard on my D16!!! Thanks for the comments, I look forward to becoming a member of the *darkside*.

Taking the heat manifold off with stock headers is going to raise the temps, and you will lose just a tad bit of power.

Oh I realize that, my point in doing that was so I could make it easier to remove that rusted out POS when I go to bolt up the TURBO manifold. I do not care about a 2-3hp loss for a month.

Very nice.....How hard was the install of the AEM FPR?? I was looking to get one but haven't had a chance to as of yet...

It was not too hard. The toughest things about it are removing and reinstalling the fuel line on the bottom of the regulator, and mounting the new FPR to the rail without the o-ring falling off and getting stuck in some little crevice never to return!!!
