any ideas!?!

help me please i have a brand new 2001 honda civic ex. I need to know what should my first step be to modifying it. I want to do it all, but where do i start and where do i go to get all the mods. o-ya i have a automatic if that makes a diff.

Well where do you wanna start, Cosmetics, or performance ????

if your going performance, then Exhaust, Intake, Headers, would be a START, you'd need to decided if you wanted to do Turbo, nitrous, or maybe an engine start, Don't get intake or headers, with out decided those first. of course your gonna need to throw in suspension also.

Cosmetics.... Wheels, Drop, Bodykit. Then your on your own.

first step... don't use purple text on a dark board!

second step... I/H/E then turbo with some engine component upgrades.

third step... take a million pics to post on HS and take it to the track and get some timeslips.

no sense in getting a header if yer going turbo since you'll have to scrap it for a turbo manifold.

first decide which route you want to go and research whats best....then work from there.

than you for your input i will look into all of that anyother ideas from anyone.

i'm not sure if a turbo kit is available for your car yet, i'm almost positive that there is NONE. however, u can always get a custom made set-up. if you are going to the turbo route, then like hybrid said, do NOT get the headers nor the intake (the filter may be used). it will be a waste of money to get those if u plan on turboing. if u havent decided yet, then get a drop kit. i strongly recommend a fully adjustable coil over (with shocks). it's well worth it..........

there are a lot of sites on the net. pick up a copy of either import tuner, sport compact car, turbo, super street, honda tuning......look at the advertisement pages.

my ordering advice is to get the number from the magazine ot website and never place an order on the web. not because it's unsafe, BUT because, sometimes the sites or magazine is not updated when "sales or discounts" are available. it is easier to deal with an operator, not to mention the opportunity of maybe getting price adjustments
