So more problems with my 05 Legacy Wagon

NOT A GT...

Well I come to work yesterday and notice a light spot on my A pillar so I try to wipe it off...

It's soaked... so's the roof... passenger side same thing.

It's wet under the dash including the fuse panel... I'm psyched.

LOVE this car...

<- Got a LEMON

I knew Subaru wasn't quite up to par in the quality department as compared to say Honda or toyota but thats a little rediculous. Its under warranty right? What did the dealership have to say?

Well we have one case of a shitty car, and your friend that "drives it hard everyday" with an ok car (a completely different model).

Well, there you have it. Definite proof that all Subarus are great cars.

maybe it's different around there but at the subaru dealership here they haven't asked him a single question about the things he's brought in to get fixed under warranty..

My friend had a Civic that was one hell of a lemon. She had so many problems with that damn thing. Every car company has it's problems. It's always the friday cars.

so you all are actually arguing that Honda somehow has a quality output thats even w/ suby? everything i've ever seen on the subject says otherwise but ok. of course talking bad about suby's wasnt really the point of my original comment when i said they're "not quite up to par".

of course then someone had to blurt out that their friends STI doesn't have problems as if I was attacking the very company that gave their family well paying jobs during the Great depression thus preventing a long life of poverty.

all cars have problems. subies just aren't finished to the same standards as all jap cars though. They always have this 'cheapness' about them. Even their STI feels cheap inside.

Hey if something is leaking it will be fixed, though it takes alot more then taht for the company to replace the car. See under warranty the dealership bill "Subaru USA" for your repiars. They make no money if they simply replace your car for you.

dealer is replacing the radio and the winshield and a bunch of little crap...

I'm still pissed though... I'm sure this is going to cause lots of problems down the road with moister getting into the dash electonics...

It'll just start corroding the connectors and then it's going to be nothing but trouble.

I think I'm going to start seriously persuing the lemon law.

Yeah man for real. I wouldnt be standing around and taking this up the ass.
Id post big signs all over the car saying that the dealership sells lemons. After they saw that you can bet that you could get away with demanding a new car. No one likes their name drug through the mud.
I saw something really similar just the other week about some remodeling business that "doesnt finish their work" outside a house on the street. The next day there was a crew of 4 company vans outside and the sign was gone.

If you're going to try to get a replacement. Don't go through your dealership, go right to the top.
