anyone running an obd1 ecu in a 4g?

is there an issue with the speed sensor vs. the mechanical speedometer drive when using an obd1 ecu in an obd0 car? i'm putting a d16z6 from a 95 civic ex into my 91 crx dx. everything i've found on this swap says you can use the obd1 ecu if you want to do a lot of wiring. i like wiring. but none of them mention the speedometer. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

first of all, i spun a bearing, so i need a new motor cheap and quick. i got a good deal on the z6, and it's ready now. i have a dx, so i'd have to swap ecu's no matter what. stupid dual point injection. i'd rather run the ecu for the z6 rather than a vtec switch and a crx si ecu, and the way i'm doing the wiring, it will be really easy to swap in any obd1 b-series later on down the road.
