Opinion needed...
Alright I need ya'alls opinion.... I'm debaiting on wether to totally black out my 93 civic si hb or go with chrome. By black out i mean my car is black, and i'm thinking black one piece projector headlights and black jdm tail lights and black gloss wheels with a machine polished rim, or chrome wheels, chrome projector headlights, chrome jdm tail lights... I've not seen too many blacked out cars and think it'd be a little more original, but i'm afriad of it being too much black, ya know? Give me you opinions... thanks guys.

I say all black except for the wheels...then go argent or polished. Chrome just looks gay on any car. It's just like saying "Hey! Look at me! I have a small penis!" (if you've got a ton of it on there, anyway).

flames belong on trucks and hot rods chrome belongs on trucks, hot rods, and mustangs i mean i really dont want to be an ass, and everyone is gonna be all 'do what YOU like !!11one!!' but still man...ghost flames and chrome on a civic ? ha. ha. i know i'd point and laugh. The only girls ive seen liking that kind of car either have dreads, wear all baby phat jumpsuits, and say 'nigga y0 shit be ballin' boy I is be on fire like that hot sauce !' The others will just roll their eyes. seriously man. dont be silly. sorry

no worries dude, i asked for opinions... I've grown up with trucks and hot rods... in in my blood, i'm the first one in my family to get an import. i got is for college for gas millage, but it turns out i randomly bought a good style civic that things can be done to easily, and i figured if i had the means why not do something to it. It's hard to be an original with a civic though, sure you can add little things, but they are so marketed that there isn't anything really big you can do that someone hasn't done before you, I personally have never seen an all blacked out civic with ghost flames...

thanks for the tips, keep'em coming.... if i go black, which i think i am, i want a machined polished lip to tie in the ghost flames... yes i know "no ghost flames on a tuner" but I'm thinking very light silver ghost flames and just think that the machined lip would tie it all together...

honestly the graphite or gunmetal look would go much nicer with the car, black has a tendency to give it a dirty look, if you go gunmetal or graphite it'll still have alittle......dare I say it...Bling. but nothign obnoxious.
(probably gonna get flamed for this from everyone but..) as for ghost flames if they are done right I've seen one or two cars that actually looks real nice with it. if you go flames dont make them real large, and avoid puttin them on your hood, something that just runs after the front wheels wouldn't be bad, but like I said small. Choose the design and color carfully cause if it isn't perfect for it it'll just be tacky |

Just don't put fuckin chrome on the civic. Chrome on imports looks horrible.
Black with polished lip looks great. I like the black or gm RSGT's |

Three words:
BLACK OUT NOW The blacked-out/gunmetal look is really nice. I saw a green del Sol recently w/ a gunmetal body kit, as well as CF altezza's, CF hood, and 16 (or 17)'s in gunmetal. It was pretty nice looking. He had the b18 GSR in it, w/ a nice mellow-sounding exhaust setup. - Dzur P.S. Oh yeah - BLACK PLEASE!!! |
