Well I finally got my first speeding ticket today... and the thing that pisses me off most about it is that I actually have a reason why I was going fast- sped up to avoid a giant v10 diesel from sideswiping me with his monster lawn care trailer... anyways... 61 in a 40 ... yeah that sucks... Copwoman...yeah it was a woman... cut me no slack... I thought about running, as I have before and gotten away, but there was no way... just not enough space between me and her to make it work... I know everyone has had their share of tickets... just wondering what everyone elses tickets were for and how much they costed and if/how they got out of them... thanks

I have gotten over 20 speeding tickets in the last 5-8 years alone. How many are actually on my record? Ans: 2
Why? Ans: It pays to work at a highly successful law firm and be on a first name basis with all the judges in the county.

One time, the cop wouldn't cut me any slack on a 51/40 ticket. SO...I subpeonaed his radar gun, his training certificate for that particular model radar gun, his calibration record logs of that radar gun for that day, his arrest record for the past year, his tuning fork used in calibrating the radar gun...and about a dozen other things. The judge was quite amused, and required the cop to bring the stuff.
Needless to say, the prosecution chose not to pursue the case.

I have 3 on my record now, but I've had about 6 or so total. I'm addicted to speed (no, not the drug). I can't go slow for some reason.....

LMAO. I hate lawyers, but this is the one time I like them. Also when they're defending me too.

What is the process for doing the above w/o a lawyer?

Never had a speeding ticket.
Got pulled over and got a warning. Not sure if cop saw me doing 150 or and followed or what but all he said at the end was "it says 100, go 100. not worth the ticket"

but had alot of close calls like 90 in a 60 zone (km). got lucky because another car passed me doing ~100-110. then up the hill started braking so I slammed on my brakes. got down to ~75. 2 cops standing. only accord got pulled over.

and many other small ones!
