Best HEADER?

Ok i have read some threads on headers here and i am still confused as to who has the best header!

WTF is Chikara?
are Greddy's headers any good? will it be good with my THermal classic that is on the way?
IS DC sports better? and worth the Extra $100?

i know APC and the likes are SH*T so i dont even mention those, but i am really curious as to who has the best header, and how much MORE gains i will see over my Thermal Classic that gains
7-9%, along with FOCUZ high Flow CAT, and AEM CAI?

i think it all comes down to prefference. the chickaras are made by hedman hedders which is a pretty respectable name in the domaestic world. they are a lot cheaper

I'm happy with my chikara... dc doesn't offer much more hp for the price...

I would NOT recomend getting ANYTHING from "focuz"... if there is a z where there should be an s... chances are it's a riceboi company...

oh and from what I've heard... if you want "the best"... it's over 500 bucks...

http://www.eautoworks.com/html/ORD-A...ce-No-6571.htm

that is UN-polished... they sell a polished one too for MORE money..

and here is a link to a pretty good list of ALL the headers for a d16z6...

i still think someone should make a sticky regarding civic header just like what we have for the exhaust...there are so many header out there...yeah there's the popular greddy and dc sports but there's so much more out there...i think we can all benefit from this... and i'm sure this will remove many of the threads regarding a specific header....

bang for buck

i had kamikaze's 4-1 when they first came out... mid-range to top end pulls hard... don't just look at full horsepower gains... what's the benefit if you gain 10 million horsepower at 12,000 rpm when you shift at 9,000? look at dyno charts at where they gain the most and when you pull the most... not to say that kamikaze were the best... but for me, all my friends with the same bolt-ons, i had the better mid-range pull at the track...

OK here is a stupid question... but what the F*CK is the difference between Ceramic coated and Stainless Steel Headers?

Is there ANY GAINS difference? SOUND difference?

I am HOping that the ONLy difference is The color and type of metal. i knOW that Stainless Steel wont Rust, but i have heard that it miss colors easier than ceramic Coated does. is this true?

if that is the only difference then i think i will have to go with Ceramic coated since it translates to almost $100 difference in price.

OK u can LOVE me LAter for this one

http://www.importtuner.com/tech/0107...nda/index.html

Land SPEED and THERMAL R&D baby. HELL YEah

they removed the Air BoX and got 4 hp so i figure my AEM CAI at LEAST gains that. then with POWERCORE header and THERMAL exhaust they jumped almost 15HP At the wheels
which is almost 20HP to the Flywheel

NICe i am glad i am getting thermal
gonna get land speed EVEN if i have to pay full MSRP for it

cause i dont know if i can get it! we will see though

I wiped off my chikara and it looks fine now... the white crap was from the paint burning off which only smelled for a night...

Also you can pull it and paint it with high temp paint and it'll look as pretty as you're paint job...

ceramic flow better IF they are internally coated as well.. I read a write up on jet-coating the inside of a jdm type R header and it gained like 3-4 hp... it makes it flow smoother.

and just fyi "thepartstrader.com" has a couple of dc headers for sale used realatively close to you... worth looking into.
