fuel pump on '87 Integra?

Picked up an '87 Integra cheap. However it doesn't start. I am getting spark, and it appears it isn't getting any fuel. Is the fuel pump located in the tank in this car? Is it a pain to change? How much do pumps run? What about installing an external fuel pump instead?

well i think it's inside the tank, but i doubt that would be the problem. it could be a bad main relay

if you haven't fixed this you should be able to pull up the carpet itn e rear and find a silver plate w/ some wires running into it...If you remove the few screws holding it when ou remove it there will be access to get to the actual fuel pump at the tank. If you get the helms/chilton manual it should have a way to do a jumper test on it as well...
