If I'm not mistaked, (and if I understand what you mean) I believe it's the cruise control button. If thats not what you mean then . You may have to make it a little clearer.

i know what he means. On a 92-95 civic there are a few little areas that have inserts that have controls like sunroof or illuination or cruisecontrol. The right side has one that is a two piece cluster for intruments, but one is just a spacer. all the others have factory options. The one that goes to the left of the defrost is for an alarm. they also have a spoon vtec controller that has a remote that goes in there.

the link that lets you know there was a response didn't notify me and I just didn't check back. on the left hand side between the steering colum and the door there are spaces next to the gauge dimmer switch that is for cruise control if you have it, and sun roof if you have it and below it there is the space for the power mirrors if you have them, now on the right side between the colum and the radio and heater/air conditioner controls is the rear window defrost button and a space for something (im assuming) and I was wondering what if anything should go there

I'm next to possitive it's an un-used space... i have a fully optioned ex and there is nothing there... So I don't think there is anything... but I could be wrong.

*realizes that everyone ignores him and points to above post where he said:*
its there for: 1) LED on alarm (factory) 2) Accesories are also made for it, such as Spoon Vtec Controller. I have a fully optioned EX except for the alarm, my friends got the factory alarm with an LED there.
