I'm using a pre-modded right now, but my next case (coming in a couple of days) will be "demelized" and fully watercooled

I custom built my watercooled pc setup. I ordered parts, pieced togeter the computer, then ordered the following parts and composed a watercooling loop (helps with overclocking cpu's because cooler cpu = more stable cpu):

-Eheim 1048 Pump
-Tygon R-3603 Tubing
-Dtek Pro Core Radiator (essentially a automotive heatercore with 2 barbs welded on)
-Dtek TC-4 Waterblock (attaches where your typical cpu heatsink/fan would go and water flows through it to cool you cpu)
-Miscellaneous fans

As soon as I take some pictures I'll post them on here for anyone who would like to see it. This is my other hobby lol. Right now my Athlon XP2000+ is overclocked from 1.66Ghz to 1.85Ghz. I also cut a hole in the front of the case for an 120mm fan and cut a good bit of the side of the case out and installed a window. A blacklight inside the case illuminates the water in my watercooling setup because I've added a couple of drops of UV reactive NAPA radiator dye. Also all my cables are UV reactive. Looks pretty sweet when the lights are off and the blacklight is on.

I have a similar setup. :

Eheim 1250
Tygon 3603
Dtek rad with dual shrouds
2 120mm deltas
DangerDen Maze 3
no res, opted for a t line instead.

Please do, it sounds sweet!

Id like to watercool but the whole Idea of water and electricity kinda scares me.

How much does a watercooled setup like that cost if you dont mind me asking.

Eheim 1250 - 60
Tygon (10ft) - 20ish (depends on thickness of sidewall)
Dtek rad - 50
shrouds - 40 (or build your own)
2 delta fans - 22
maze 3 - ~55
misc hardware - 5-10

~250, but you can EASILY build a setup cheaper than that. Go to the junkyard, pull a heater core, solder barbs onto it, or get one for $16 @ napa & solder. Shrouds you could easily make, etc.

Phew, those deltas are loud. My roomate has a Vantec 80mm Tornado cooling his XP2000+ and it's quite the noisemaker. We don't really mind it though. The sounds of fans put me to sleep. My 120mm intake fan is the loudest thing on my computer, but the sound it produces is of a much lower frequency, so it's pretty bearable. I have a T-line in mine also, but I couldn't fit dual shrouds due to the hellacious size of my GF4 Ti4400. I really wanted dual shrouds too.

I thought that at first too but actually if you take time to put together a good system and use metal hose clamps to secure the tubing onto the barbs, then leaks don't happen very much at all, if any. I've had my system built for almost a year now, and I haven't had a single leak yet.

The deltas aren't that bad, they are a step down from the highest CFM 120s. I have them on a rheostat to turn them down anyway.... only affects temps by about 1-2'C. Besides, 120s are a lower pitches noise. More like a large house fan.

I have a tornado on one of my boxes right now and its killing me. The box is on the desk next to me and I hope to get rid of that fan soon.

Here's a link to where you can get some good computer fans. If you're looking for ultra quiet, I suggest the Vantec Stealth series (I'm assuming you need 860mm x 25mm size fan(s)). Bear in mind that the quieter the fan, the lower the amount of air it moves (usually). The decibal rating (dB) is provided in the description rating for each fan, so you decide exactly how quiet you want. Also the cfm rating is provided (cubic feet of air moved per minute).

Also, if you get a fan with a 3 pin connector, you'll need a 3 to 4 pin adapter to be able to plug it into the molex connectors that your PSU supplies.

The adapter is found here.

Hope that helps a bit. You can also find fans at newegg, among many other places on the net.

SVC is an excellent company to order from. I've ordered a couple of times from them. The Stealths are nice, and so are the Panaflo L1As if you're looking for quietness.

i was looking into building a computer a while bak but im cheap, and broke (go together, no) so i changed my mind. If you get TechTV watch the screen savers there is a guy on there named Yoshi who is like a computer buiding god. He made a mouse with a cooling fan. It was awesome.
