question

i have a question for you guys who know their $hit about sound systems. Take a look at these specs for a 10 inch Kicker impulse subwoofer... and maybe tell me if 2 of them are worth 120$ bucks.

Single woofer
Impedance: 4,8 Ohms
Maximum Amplifier Power: 125 Watts
Sensitivity: 89 dB 1w/1m
Frequency Response: 30-1000Hz
Mounting Depth: 4-1/2", 114mm
Mounting Hole Diameter(in.,mm): 9-3/16, 233
Minimum Recommended Sealed Enclosure Volume(cu.ft,l): 0.8, 22.6
Maximum Recommended Sealed Enclosure Volume(cu.ft,l): 1.2, 34.0

i will also be getting a 200watt amp that runs on 4ohms? or something like that... can someone please tell me if any of this sounds any good. because i dont want to get ripped off

That's a great deal, assuming the subs are new. Send them a fair amount of power, and those subs thump for what you pay for them.

Get two four ohm models, and an amp that puts out around 300 watts max RMS at 2 ohms. You'll be happy.

do you think 250 watts would send them a nice amount of power?

depends on if 250 watts is the RMS power rating of the amp and how you wire it.....but 250 should do the job

or 300 just so it hits a little above the RMS sometimes
