Egg smell coming from exhaust???

i have an egg smell coming from my exhaust and don;t know what it is?? Could anyone tell me and how to fix it? It mostly happens when i shift into reverse..i have a 5 spd 88 civic hb

My guess would be your catalayic converter...do you have emissions where your at, if so get a new one but if you dont just gut yours out or buy a high flow..Good luck

yup, and that's because it's breaking in. All of the materials have to get used to heating up to 1000*+ temperatures and it smells for a while. I just read a great article about it in the latest issue of modified mag. It was nice since there isn't a lot of information about cats out there.
