oxy sensor

what are some of the things that happen when ones goes bad?

my CEL came on and the code i got was OXy sensor. but i didnt notice any changes in how the car drove or started ect.

I would erase it and if it comes back then change it, sometimes its just a fluke

bad gas mileage. it basically puts the car in limp mode(running rich) so that it will make it to where ever it needs to be.

i picked up a universal o2 sensor for like 40 bucks. splice two wires and its done. (but its a bitch to get the old one out)

unfortunatly it seems that the newer the car, the more expensive the o2 sensors get.

if the light does not come back on then forget it, same thing happend to my car at about 30k miles it was a fluke, how many miles are on your car anyway???

well at 113k, if the sensors are orginal they should have both been changed a while ago
