Should I remove "pin stripes"...

Hey guys, I wanted to know...I have a '98 nordic mist lude, w/ no mods.Should I have no pin stripes...it came like that and I think it looks kinda ummm...not so great especially when I wax my car you see it on the pin stripes. The pin stripes are on the sides of the car where the grove is...my friend suggested getting the same stripes just different pattern. The stripes are gray and they are kinda peeling so I want to know should I replace them or just take them off all together!!??I don't plan on changing the color of the car if that helps. But I do plan on putting a kit and so forth.
Thanks

I did it with my old car and I did notice the color difference once removed, but after washing the car and getting rid of the sticky stuff and waxing it..the color matched the car fine.I have a friend who has a buffer so that might rid me of worrying about anything left over.
Also, last time I just peeled the stripes off and cleaned the area with car soap and waxed afterwards, is their a special way to remove them....??

the pinstripe looks like ass IMO. i had a black pinstripe on my old white prelude, when i took that off, the car looks 100x better.

you shouldent have much of a problem getting the stripe off if its peeling anyway

and i dunno if i would use rubbing alchohol. it might do something to the paint. Use Goo Gone or something like that

pin stripes are a negative, i had gold ones on my black accord, needless to say i got rid of them. i did it over the course of a few days though cause im lazy, i just waited till it was blisteringly hot outside cause the adhesive will loosen up, or you can take a hair dryer to it, after that i used goo gone until i ran out and i remembered a guy at the store reccomending lighter fluid so i tried that and it worked, after i got it all off i just washed and waxed it and it event he color out.
