Just got my Accord!

Hey, I just bought my first car... a 1990 Accord LX... It's white and is in very good condition and I learned to drive standard just for her.

Well, now I'm going to throw in some speakers and was wondering if anyone knew the exact size... I'm pretty sure the back 2 are 6"x9", but the ones in the door, I'm not too sure of.

I'm sure that they're either 5"1/4, or 6"1/2...

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm still new to driving standard (had a total of what.. 1 hour 30 mins of driving :P) but I'm picking up quite fast, and kicked in at 120km/h to test 5th gear... she seems like a nice ride! I think I've been wearing down this new clutch quite fast though while learning lol...

so for sure the back 2 are 6"x9" and the front 2 are 5" 1/4?

Hey, at that crutch site it said that the speakers were 6"1/2 all around... should I go by their recommendations? Thanks for your time.

you can always modify it, its not that hard just cut the area for the 6x9 in the back, and cover it up with the speaker grills, i bought plain grills so people thought they were stock

I took my front speakers out and but 6 1/2" speakers in the front door without much problems, just had to make a special spacers so the magnet did hit the glass.

I've got a '90 LX and the rear AND front speakers are 6 1/2". Weird stuff. I would assume yours are the same as mine, but I guess not.
