maintenance required light

Ok guys, i need some help. I drive a 2001 Civic EX. My maintenance required light came on about 6,000 miles ago. Now i know this light is set to pre determined mileage intervals so i know nothing is wrong with my car. I have looked under my dash for a supposed little reset box, and i cant seem to find it. I dont know if things have changed on my model, but i do know i am sick of staring at that light so any help is appreciated.

I've never looked in a 2k1 Civic, but in my Accord, there is a little spot on the gauge cluster where you can stick your key in to turn off that light. Maybe try that, but if not, someone on this board will know how.

its easy...
1. turn key off
2. hold the reset button at the dash (u know, to reset trip meter and stuff)
3. while holding that button down, put the key in "ON" position, wait 10 SECONDS.
4. you're set!
