40 lbs would mean night and day.... it would reduce your acceleration, thus killing your 60's .... i drove a friends Eclipse with 18s, not only did it have a larger rotational diameter but they were heavy too...all i can say is that my 86 buick century felt faster.. ok, maybe not but it was much slower...
