vtec sol vs. civic

Alright, so I'm cruisin around the net lookin' at parts and wht not when my doorbell rings. It's my friend Leo. He just a bought a 93 civic. I go outside to check it out. It's 4 door, orange, primer, and red. lol I have him pop the hood and I see it's sportin' the sohc non-vtec d16 with a short ram intake and a big ol' muffla.

Leo asks me if I want to race him. I quickly replied it wouldn't be much of a race. So we roll out from my house and hit the highway. The thing should be limited to racing fully loaded dumptrucks. We raced from stops, we raced from 40 mph, 55 mph, all over the place. The fruit-salad colored civic got annihilated every time by multiple (tens of) Ford Excursion lengths.

The only way I knew he was anywhere behind me was when I shut it down back to the speed limit and he flew past. I guess the brakes don't work too well. :dunno: lol

It's cool though, a second, well, third vehicle for him. He's got a big dodge ram as his main vehicle. He picked up this civic from a guy at his college for 2 grand.
