Factory Wing on Hatchback (if you can call it a wing)

Has anyone ever taken the little wing off the back of a hatchback before? does it leave any visible signs once it is off... im going to be putting a low profile aluminum spoiler on my car and i dont want 2 , (dont give me sh*t about the aluminum wing, i think it will look good

) Anyone help?
