My newly moded civic ex beats a stang 5.0...yea!

i want to thank everyone on here for helping me out with my car questions. I got my car back from the shop with everything i bought installed and man i've never had so much fun driving a civic. anyways, this guy i work with has a 5.0 and i was talking about how i just got my car fixed up and he's all like i'd still smoke you, so i say ok after work lets see. so we get off work and we drive until we hit the first stop light. he revs that big ass v8 and i rev my 1.6 sohc, he looks over and laughs and i laugh back. ohh yea, i didn't tell him i had nitrous on my car at work lol. light turns green and we hit it. the torquey stang takes me off the line badly until about 3000 rpm and i start gaining on him quickly, 2nd i'm ahead and in 3rd by about 2 car lengths, we had to shut it down cause of traffic. it was so sweet, just thought i'd share, feels good to beat a v8 even if it's my friends, afterwards he was like shit, i'm gonna get supercharger and smoke your ass, lol then i would ha ha ha.
