so i drove the 06 civic today

I went to the dealership today and they had an 06 civic available for test drives. I really like the new car. It is smooth and quiet, and the R18A1 is really smooth on power. I think a lot more power can be made out of it when changing to a header that does not look like a log with 4 pipes coming out of it. The car is really flat in turns and i did not find the suspension to be rough, but there was some tire noise on rougher surfaces. I know the digital speedo looks funky on top of the dash, but it is really where it should be and it is visible at all times, withoutimpeding the view of the road. the stereo seemed to be pretty decent, and mp3/vma player is standard on lx/ex models. The only thing that really didn't click with me was the steering wheel which is smaller than the standard 13.8" wheels. The car is really fun to drive and smooth. The seats are nice and supportive, but the lumbar supports are a bit made for the heavier people, not my skinny ass. The headliner is some sort of fabric, that looks really, really nice. Another gripei have with the car is the fact that the ashtrays are completely gone.
