Doom III?

Has anyone here played Doom III yet? and if so, what did you think of it?
I personally played it and beat it already. Awesome game, but easily the most hardware intensive game that I have ever played.
It's also one of the scariest too...nothing beats playing the game at 1 Am in the dark listening to the whirring of computers and machines and hearing voices come out of nowhere like "help me..." and "follow me..." scary ass shit
ne ways, what do you guys think? Was doom III worth the monumental wait?
