The new ones hold up to 1gb of music
Theyre lighter than mp3 players
Cost less
Easier to find your music since you can make specific discs
Enable recording of music/voice anywhere you are, not just at the computer

I have had 2 mp3 players and 3 md players...I am always WAY more satisfied w/ the md over mp3 devices.

If youre really wanting an mp3 though, definately check out the dell. Good price and I hear good things about them. Can't beat the cs.
