Smell Of Gasoline

ok, so, i live in a very hot city named Phoenix. i dont know if heat matters in this situation, but today ive noticed my car emmits a heavy gasoline smell from the engine area.

i need to know what to do and what can cause this. im sorta scared my engine will blow up, what should i do?
