Excitement for the day

Well there's never a borring day in my neighborhood since i got into an ACCIDENT today with my poor baby. Ok here's the dirt.

So i'm at a stop taking about to take a left onto my street. The last car passes and i'm about to go into the street when i look into my rear view mirror; a red F350 powerstoke diesel with a dumpbody is flying towards me. I figure the guy was doing about 50-60ish. All of a sudden i hear him lock up the brakes and he trys to go around me on the right side and grazes my car. So i'm in complete shock and he keeps on going!!

So now i'm Clucking Pist. ..... Dump clutch, wind out first, wind out second, and i've caught up to him. Now at this point i figure he's an asshole who can't live up to his actions or he's drunk. So i'm on my horn and flashing my lights and he's still going!!! finally he pulls over and claims he " didn't think he hit me and only thought it was a close call", which i could see since his truck is huge. Long story short, i got all the info, filed an accident report, and two friends who are in the autobody buissness figure between 1200 and 2500. So i was kinda pist, but glad he didn't hit me dead on or else my car wouldn't be looking too good right now.

NOW for the good part..... If i get a decent ammount of insurance money, and my buddy can fix it for cheap, then i have money left over. I figure while it's in the shop i can take off the head, throw in a different camshaft, and port and polish the head. I was wondering if anyone had any input or opinions? Also would it be advantageous to have the head milled?
