i would not "chip" any ecu.. as i think that "chiping" and ecu is silly.. the only thing i would consider along those lines is hondata.. but if you mean most popular to swap in? its probably because they are inexpensive AND obd1 which is better for tuning.. but he has a 99 ex.. which is obd2 and just generaly crappy.. i would not put a single cam ecu on a twin cam without the ability to modify fuel flow (through some type of piggyback) IF i ever swap ecus it would ONLY be to achieve obd1..ouside of that id just use the right ecu for the right motor..
