well if you look the FCD(fuel cut defenser) it why they picked up so much power, cause they could crank the boost up. OLd DSM's used to fuel cut at 15 psi i believe(or it was 16) so you were limited to the amount of power you can make, remember you get about 10/whp for every 1 psi of boost.
and yes opening up the exhaust and intake/fuel path on a turbo car is like unlocking the closet of horsepower. the car i built made 420WHP, 396Ft lbs of torque on a 2.0 litre....w00t w00t! |
