how LOW to GO???

i know there have been posts already about drops 100 or so times i am sure. but i havent seen any that relate to this exact question

i have a 97 Civic EX 4dr..currently i have 205/50/15 wheels that are 23.07 inches tall

i want a set of 17" Enkei RSF2 rims that are 205/40/17. These are 23.45" tall........STock height is 23.46" for 185/65/14 wheels, so there is all of .01" difference in the overall height of the wheels and tires

I do not completely understand the MONSTER TRUCK look thing with having bigger rims and no drop. iS it because the rim is so much larger in comparison to the tire?

i want to drop around 1 & 1/2 inches, i want to drop for PERFORMANCE and HANDLING as well as LOOKS. but more for the handling....

i do NOT want to slam my car since i put 20-25K miles on my ride AS JDMB16 knows living in MEChaniCsVille u tend to drive alot to go places...

does anyone have any pictures of their rides with 17" and 1 & 1/2" drop or close to it??? please post so i can see.

i know to get a camber kit when dropping...Hell i need one anyways doing all those J turns and Power Slides on back roads in King William

please help me out and lets see those rides
