I like the 240sx idea. Lots of options but not one on every corner.
Also look into a MKIII supra, those things are cheap with lots of potential. A 300zxtt can be had for less than 6k now, but with high miles so you might need to save some cash for repairs. Also try a 1st Gen eclipse/talon. Those arent too bad either
