What I also don't get is why I always stay up late. I could get more sleep tongiht, and be in bed by 12, since I have to wake up at 6am...but it's 2:10 am and I'm still up. I'm a retard when it comes to sleep, honestly...:o

Heh, I pulled an all-nighter last night. Had a plane flight early this morning and had to leave for the airport at 5:30AM and normally get to sleep around 2, so just decided to stay up. My GF and a case of Coors Light helped me out.

see when you have all your classes start at noon or later... you find yourself up till 2am every night, getting 8-9 hours of sleep and still making to your "early" classes.

oh and 4 pages down, 6 to go. 2 pages are completly my thoughts of the books i "read" yes... qutoed cause i didnt really read all of them(only 1 and a half our of 4), and none in the timeframe of this project. i feel like im in 11th grade again doing book anaylisis's

i hate writing the last paragraph of a critical anaylisis of a book.... its like the wrap up and highlight of all my BS but it needs to sound good and powerful

That probably depends on which set of standards you're going by.

Most places follow MLA. But how to reference it depends on how you're using it.

This link has some decent info:

http://www.dianahacker.com/resdoc/hu...es/intext.html

In a works-cited list you'd underline the title of the book, and put the section or article name in quotes. For in-line book references I'd probably say to use underline there too.

well i dont really need a works-cited page since i just used the books i "read" as my information.

as of right now i have all the titles in italics, but im going to ask someone at the library when i go there today and find out for sure

In the body of a paper either Italics or underline is acceptable for the title of a book. As mentioned, in a Works Cited page, it should be underlined. I believe if you reference the title of a chapter, that part is in quotes, but the easy way around that is to not make such a reference.

When I was in college (never finished)... I used to do that ALL the time... I started 90% of my papers or speaches within 24 hrs of the class...

I did pretty well for a while till I started getting projects that were too long to complete in that time period...

One GREAT story though was I had a speach class and I was like the 10th out of 20 people to go... My teacher was like...

"Could you share with the class what did you do to prepare... that was the best one yet!?"

I was like do you want me to be honest??

He said yes so I said I thought about it on the way here and drew (sp) my visual aid on my break before the class...

He was shocked... the rest of the class was pissed...

I don't know that I could do 10pgs in 24 hrs... certainly not if I hadn't already read the books though... I read VERY slow... it was my biggest downfall in school...
