				Subs in the trunk?
I'm actually a major producer of electronic music and I just bought a great '88 'lude (w00t)! And subs would be cool, but they go in the trunk?! I mean if they do I'm down with that but, uh, wouldn't your back seat eat up all the sound? I know I sound like a noob but I've actually never been in a car with subs, I've only heard them from a distance. I guess that would be the ideal place, but wouldn't it sound better if it were possible to mount the subs inside the interior? I know that would kill the backseat cruiser but ... ok I'm babbling ... They go in the trunk?? |

				 | Yes, in the trunk.. Depending on on how well the intererior of your car is sound/weather-proofed, the bass can be heard from inside.. ex: 1- 92 sentra coupe (1 10" 300w rms) 2- 2002 Accord coupe (2 12" 600w rms) Both system have very good installs. With the seats, the sentra's interior is getting more bass (even though it only has 1/2 the power).. But with the seates down/off, the Accord obviously buries the sentra.. In your case, the sound/weather-proofing wont do that much dammage.. So even with your seats up, you'll be getting a lot of whats being played.
