AEM filter cleaning
I am getting an AEM short ram and I was wondering if the K&N cleaning kit will work just the same as the AEM? I just don't want to have to buy a different cleaning and re-oiling kit if K&N is the same thing.

if the filter material is made of the same stuff... yea u shuld be ok..

the aem filters are made of the same stuff. in the begining k&n used to supply aem with filters for their intakes. also the filter comes preoiled and can be installed. where are u getting the intake from ? i prolly can help you get it cheaper, just let me know

How do you clean the filter any way? without buying a kit, or is that not possible?
