can you swap any other vtec heads on a d16z6 other the stock???

sure d-series parts are interchangeable. you could go w/ a d16y8. i would think you could use the new d17 vtec head, but those are brand new so they are probably pricey.

the d16y8 intake manifold is supposed to be better than the Z6's. dont know how much though.

EDIT: oh yeah, if you did swap to a Y8 head you'd get a little bump in compression, so that alone would get you a little power.
