AEM Cam Gear rattling ?

So, I just installed my AEM Cam today on my D16 and I've noticed that when i rev up to 1400 it makes a rattling noise...I did the install myself taking every percaution making sure everything was top dead center and yadaa blah blah...but the rattling noise seems to be coming from the bottom gears. I"ve put the cam gear cover back on and it still is doing it ? Any advice guys ?

are you sure its the gear rattling? you said bottom, but have you checked your exhaust? have someone rev your car slowly and push on certain parts near the exhaust. you know, heatshield, catalyitc, etc.

Fixed it. Turns out the problem wasn't coming from the bottom at all...the plastic shield behind the cam gear was hitting the screws that allow you to adjust it...so i just took a knife and went to work and cut off all the pieces behind it...works great and no more rattaling...thanks for the advice though.
