				 | Dude, someone tells you one is louder that the other, and your set to go?? Yes they will be louder at a certain slim frequency range.. But dont expect big bass out of them, cause when you go low, they wont do very well in a ported box. Anyways, I wouldnt go ported with 10W6..

 Its a actually a filter.. It cuts out the frequencies lower than a certain selected frequency.. If you go ported, its will be a must, since you'll be running 10"s.

				 | the best would be to get an amp with a subsonic filter.. or if you get an outboard crossover, they often come with a subsonic filter.. One question for you, why do you want to go ported?
