Rims for my car......need advice
Ok, I am gonna get new rims/tires on my car in spring, probably around april. I have noooo idea which way to go. Chrome rims, (for show) or some nice racing rims. My car is already pretty easy to spot out of a crowd, and Im not sure If I wanna add chrome wheels to the car too, making it more of a target for cops and theifs..... So what do ya'll think???? Im not even sure what size to get. I got a 4 door. 15" honda rims right now. Color is a greenish color, looks different in sunlight and dark, nice though.

Chrome is best suited for luxury cars IMO.
now, is performance an issue, or are you planning on showing? what about your budget?

Well, I don't have any engine mods as of yet, but I plan on it. Mostly my car is show right now. Nothing is done underneath the hood. My budget isn't really much of a concern......So I dunno what to do

Dont buy rims off the net.. go to a local shop and buy them.. that way you have someone to yell at if someone goes wrong..

Good advice. Better to spend a couple bucks more and see what you're getting first.

A few of my gang have bought from tirerack and had no problems. I wouldn't buy from a small dealer online, though.

i think www.tirerack.com lets you pick out your car and color, then put different rims on it to see if you like it. might wana do that.
BTW there are chrome rims, racing rims, and just plain rims. alot of rims are heavy even though they arnt chrome. if you just want a car that looks nice, find any set you like the way they look, cause if your not dishing out over 1500 for 17's your probobly not getting light wheels (rota's are the exception)

Yah, see I love E-bay, I have gotten lots of stuff off of there, the only problem is that I have no clue what size rims and tires I need. I don't know much about tires and rims, especially for my car. I don't wanna spend 500 bucks for rims and then have no clue if they are even gonna fit my car???/
