![]() Anybody got a pic of a 6th gen Accord, preferably sedan, sitting on 18" wheels without any lowering? I'm curious just how bad it'll look, if not too bad then I may grab me some wheels/tires long before I redo the suspension....if too bad, then I won't get anything for a while.

I don't have pics, but I've seen them, and it looks really jacked up on 18s.

i saw a stock accord on 18's.....dont have the pic anymore, looked "ok". imo, swap on the 18's and lower at the same time or already have it lowered a bit. looks DIESEL that way

Hmmm....problem is I don't exactly have the ~$2500 right now to do it all, and I may never really have it to spend. About 1500 for wheels + wraps and another 800 for shocks/springs, or almost 1000 for the Teins.....that's a lot of money considering I'm about to be spending an extra $360/month for my new place over what I pay now, and still need things like vacuum, w/d, tv, dvd, etc. etc. etc.
I hate to say it, but I'm not even sure it's worth doing anything else to my car at this point.....I really want a much nicer car already, and I'm hoping in a few years I can afford one. How about 17" at stock height??? I guess I could save $500 by just getting Pro-kits and not updating the shocks......and maybe buy cheaper wheels, or going 17" will save me a little money here and there. b |

prokit is expensive - get some 17's and H&R/Neuspeed SPORT springs. its like a 1.5" drop, rides perfectly fine on stock shocks for A LONG TIME.

It shouldn't look that bad sitting on 18's without being lowered but of course it won't look as good. If I were you, I would just wait until you can do everything at the same time (i.e. rims/tire and drop)...just my opinion....

I dunno....I dropped mine at the same time I put the rims on so I really can't remember but I know my friend put 17's on his Civic and didn't look bad, just looked like it needed to be lowered........

IMO...the only size rims that should go on civics are 15-16's...
hatches are a dif story though... for accords...17's+

Maybe I'll just get 17" with some Pro-kits and ditch the idea of shocks for a while. How many peeps have ended up needing camber kits with the Pro-kits?
I want the RH C3's, though, which are expensive compared to other wheels...... b |

You probably won't need a camber kit with the pro-kits.
