tranny probs

OK, i just bought a 92 VX and when i down shift to decellerate the tranny pops out of gear. I have only driven the car a couple times but the clutch seems to be grabbing OK and it has'nt done it on an upshift yet. Any ideas??

Check out the shift linkage. If anything is bent the car won't fully engage into gear. Also check out your motor mounts. It sounds like it might be one of those since it only happens on decelleration.
