Finally bought a new car, and it's a....

1994 Mazda 626 Cronos (LX basically) V6 5-Speed.
Has 106 Mile or 170km on it.
I had a choice of this or a 1992 Honda Accord LX (your dx) 5-speed.
Both had A/C
but the Mazda was newer looking, much newer, it had power windows (which I'm much used to) and I thought was a better buy for my money.
The Mazda has something like 164hp and 160tq.
Getting it sometime mid next week!

Gratz on the purchase. I know youve been wanting a new car for a while, and it looks like you found a nice one. Do you have plans to mod it or just keep it how it is? A friend of mine has a early 90s Mazda MX-6 automatic and its tranny has blown at 80k miles... good thing you got the manual!!!

Ummm regarding the mods part, for the first year, I'll maybe just lower it and tint it, that's it.
It's got some miles on it already so I don't think I'll make it a speed demon or anything.
This is the car!

yup its a nice one, just needs to be cleaned out. the owner before d was a smoker so the seats & mats will haveto be cleaned a few times to get the smell out.

Car looks very nice and clean. Lowering it sounds nice. May want to try and grab a cheap set of Motegi rims off ebay or something to throw on there when you drop it... the MR8s would look sweet on that thing... just some thougts

Dont forget camber kits when you lower it! No car likes bad camber, especially ones with higher mileage that are lowered!

yup. 3 2 degrees and 1 5 degrees, but my frame is not so kosher. i gotta take it to the dealer and ask them to bend the front crossmember. i think the car was wrecked before i got it.
