				Painting Stock Bumper Cover...
Hey all! I am going to paint my stock bumper cover and was wondering if there are any links to some DIY sites that have a general step-by-step instructions (or) if any of you can give me a basic list of what to do from start to finish and what paint is best to use (phew!) I am going to do it myself until it comes out the best way possible so any ideas are greatly appreciated! Thanks! Cyber |

				 | use an air compressor/spray gun. wet sand, wet sand, wet sand, primer, wet sand, paint, wet sand with a VERY fine grit, like 1500, clear, 2000. take your time |

				 | Hmm, I was told that primer may cause the paint to chip. I was also told that I should look for a paint that has a flexing agent in it... does that make sense? Sheesh, maybe I should just take it to a shop! Cyber |

				 | It would definately be easier to have a shop do it. But if your proficient in painting and have faith in your abilities, then try and do it yourself. Just take your time and have patience.

				 | flexing agent is great. be sure to prep right....the results once you paint will show how well you prepped/didnt prep. |
