hi guys
Hi everyone. My name is clynte (clint), I'm a mechanic for ford and chrysler in Plaquemine Louisianna.
I own a 98 Civix Lx with the d16y7 1.6 L i've got a few questions about this vehicle, like is it possible to strap a vtec head onto that engine and if so what else would i need besides the control module and the wiring harness? or if i cant put the heads on that engine what would be involved in droping a vtec into her? would i have to change out the trans? any help any of you guys could give me would be cool and if any of you have questions about ford or dodge feel free to ask later Dent |

hey clynte...uh...sorry i can't answer your questions because i am new at the car scene being 14 and all i am learning i think you will learn alot from these guys i have but welcome to hs

 ) You might wanna post that info in the Civic forum. It might get more hits than in here. But the guys on here should definitely be able to help you out a tons. They're all great here and are at your disposal   Enjoy your stay at HS!

 Well all that is just beyond me... I would recommend posting your question in the engine swapping forum... even though you only wanna do a half swap. Well Happy Honda'ing
