Most of the time I'm the most laid back guy around, and all my friends can attest to that; there are times, however, when I literally feel as if I'm about to snap. I don't mean this in jest or anything like that... there are seriously times when I feel as if I am about to be overcome with rage... and it isn't really at any one person or group of people, I wouldn't kill anyone or anything like that... just snap, just completely, totally snap and go insane about things that I can't control or influence... there are certain things in my life that are of utmost importance, and I've been blocked out by those things and it makes me so mad I just don't know what to do sometimes... anyone else have sporatic rage?

Well...to be furious at something I'd have to care about it...and I've found that caring about things is overrated. The only thing that really gets to me is stupidity...especially when it's on TV. You wanna punch stupid people...but that's assault. And when they're on TV punching them is even more of an exercise in futility. But rage? I wouldn't call it that. More of just a serious annoyance.

one time when I driving home I was half tempted to veer off the road and wrap my car around a light pole and wondered if anyone would miss me....im glad i didnt follow through

oh...and when my car was broken into a year back I was so outraged i punched a wall and ended up destroying the bone in my hand (broke the bone and put it at a 35 degree angle)

do these count?

But really, I'm glad you didnt. Next time you feel the way you did, seriously, think about the good things in life, count your blessings as cheesy as that sounds. Or, think about those that didn't get the opportunity to live to see 18, or even 5.

And as an response to the thread starter, Yeah, I know how you feel. So many things in my life are upside down [I try to hide it] and all the while, my peers think my life is amazing..sometimes when those upside down things go sink further, I get so frustrated that I can't do anything about it so I just cry..I usually snap during those times when someone or something irks me, it's like, I release and really speak my mind. So, note, if I'm upset like that, don't come near me because I'll be quite blunt. =/

jfwy, yeah and I understand. I'm usually the one talking people out of depression. thats why im looking to be a psychiatrist to lol
today in class we did all wrote "dear abby" questions and ended up exchanging them in class for us to answer, well I answered one and he read out loud and everyone was like "wow.....that was a reaally good response"

lol, that's totally awesome. I just graduated high school, c/a '04 and I only got to take psychology for one year, the thing is, my teacher was also the head football coach so he was always busy with this and that and didn't really teach us anything. All we did was book work and got it mixed with sociology and psychiatry. I don't remember the point of this story, but anyhoo, sociology > psychiatry.

By the way, my comment was just me teasin ya, smile, will ya?
