dropping my car at the end of the week...

on kyb shocks and eibach springs. i think i'ma have to roll the fenders in back... they're already rubbing. course, my stock springs are shot.

i'm also putting in strut bars in the front/back on the top/bottom in the front.

what do you guys think? any suggestions for diff brands? suggestions for strut bar brands?

oh, i have 18" wheels, too. has anyone lowered their car on 18"s? does it look good?

oh, and one more question, i'm told that this spring/shock combo will drop it about an inch and a third. is this about right? judging by the current wheel-fender gap, i don't have much more to spare, sooo....

18s on a civic look too big IMO. You got the Eibach pro kit, right? That drop should be about right in that case.

Strut bar, go for Neuspeed.

neuspeed strut bars. dc sport have a tendency to bend ( i think the ebay brands are a lot better than dc)

first lets lower the car 2 inches, after getting new rims.
18 to big lets go 16 or 15.

i go with Koni Yellows. Neuspeed bars: sway and strut. Eibach sounds ok.

18s are a lil big, but it doesn't look to bad. i'll go with neuspeed for the bars; seems to be the popular choice.

i have the Eibach Sportline springs on my 98 civic, it dropped the car 1.8 inches, it looks sick, my 17inch rims are tucked, it took a couple weeks tho to notice it, since our cars are light it takes a bit for it to settle on the new springs

I had the same susp. set up on my old car .... eibach prokit's and kyb struts... It ripped... lots of people say otherwise or feal differently... but I LOVED those springs/struts... they lasted for over 100k before I wrecked the car.

Oh yeah and 18's are clown shoes... even if they are for a big brake kit... you can get SICK braking out of a civic without ever needing anything over a 15" wheel.

Wilwoods' are definately sweet... but I wouldn't ever get them just on the 18's only thing.

Looks like something you'd find on a Mercedes or something... too big for my taste.

That's with NO drop in the back and you're lowering it another 1.5"?

hmm...those rims actually do look nice on ur civic IMO...anyways, judging from the 1st picture of the rim it looks like you could put 17's on ur civic and still could fit those willwood brakes...but i could be wrong...

maybe i could find some 17s that would ft them, but they'd have to have just the right shape...

honestly, those rims are overkill.... although the wilwood are damn sexy. and like 94_AcCoRd_EX said, those rims look like belong on a high-end upscale luxury car... i'd sport some light rotas with power slot rotors and hawk pads with stainless steel brake lines!
