trends TRENDS TRENDS!! MAKE IT STOP!

Ok, my friend bought a Blitz kit for his eclipse last month. We put it on and it looks nice. Ok, but, I have seen 3 blitz kits on 3 different cars in the past week. One on a 92 prelude, one on another eclipse, and one on a Del Sol. Does blitz want everycar to look the same or what?! And its not like its the only body kit out for eclipses, there are so many eclipses with this kit its unbeliveable my friend got it because he liked it even before he got his car a long time ago, so I respect him for HIS decision as to everyone else who has this kit, start to be original! Agree or disagree?:o

hmm... i'd like to beleive that... but being original means having a clean kit with dark 16's and having performance instead of looks... once again... not origional. you wana be origional? dont get into cars... invent something.. lol.

do what you enjoy to your car... cause its your car, and if anyone laughs at you... hey... at least you dont have to laugh at people to make you think your not waisting your time and money with your car cause no one likes it.

Who are you to say that the other guys didn't always like that kit too...

think about it... if they build a nice looking kit... people will like it...

If you want to be original don't buy stuff that looks good...

even then there will be people that do like that kit... so you're screwed...

1off is the only original solution.

As much as i am into individuality, its just about impossible to be original. Because theres always someone who's going to copy you or try to spread something they think is cool you just cant win. Even if you lived 1,000 miles away from civilization there will probably be someone wearing the same loin cloth as you.

So just do whatever you want thats all you really can do

i hafta agree with nonov, those people that you saw with the kit may have been in the same boat as your friend. And the companies want to make money, of course if they have good feedback on a kit, they will expand and make it available for other cars.

was it a real blitz kit or a 400 dollar knock off? that's why everyone's car looks the same cuz they're all buying from extreme dimensions and sense motorsports. you think that everybody really has a real buddy club kit? there really aren't many more things that can be done aero wise, other than trying to do major mix and matches.

What do you expect from a car that, I am sorry to say, are a dime a dozen?

I don't know why everyone is so concerned with body kits and wings and all the other trends in the tuner world. The way I see it you shouldn't even BEGIN to work on your exterior before you've finished under your hood. Myself, my car is waiting for the new built ZC, rear disc brake swap, new suspension, new rack and pinion, and eventually a turbo. Only after all the things THAT MATTER, will I worry about how it looks. Having a 'dope' looking ride doesn't mean jack if your getting spanked all the time. I think this function over form method is even more important especially since we are all driving no-horsepower hondas.

but thats just me.
