styrofoam

ok.. i bought a 150 pack of what i thought were paper plates... they are styrofoam, can i microwave on styrofoam? or is it gonna burn away and turn my food into cancer?

i dont know ive microwaved styrofoam but I wouldnt have it in there for very long, It doesnt seem safe.......

dont microwave styrofoam. lets just say my steak tasted a little funny afterwards.

the styrofoam will burn up in the microwave...i remember once I put tin foil in the microwave by mistake...big mistake! the tin foil like lit on fire and stuff...wasn't cool..lol

Actually you can for short periods of time, I think they make a plastic kind that microwavable.

never ever put styrofoam in teh micro! it will give off cancerous gasses. and it melts into your food

funny tasting steak eh brocoli? Did you see dancing cows afterwards?

yeah dont nuke styrofoam...I made it in chemistry lab before...shows you that its a lot more unsafe than they show it off to be...youre really only supposed to use them chilled...and who does that?!

Yeah. This one time one of my friends was talking about how he put an egg in the micro for like a half hour or something and the egg exploded and the door flew off. So one time my friend and I came home from the bar. I convinced her that we should try this. Her parents had this little dinky 70's microwave and the egg blew up and one of the hinges blew off the door. And it smelled. But it was really funny.
