Is the GReddy Type 24 FMIC too big???
I'm looking to buy my intercooler soon. I like the size of the type 24 since it will fill up the opening very well. I plan on running 6 psi on the street, and 9-10 at the track. I know people have success with the 31, but IMO its small and looks sorta weak and puny. So would the 24 be too big for my application? Running a GReddy TD04-15G on stock internals @ 6 psi right now. Thanks!
Oh, I also like the APEX GT intercooler. Anyone know if it would fit piping wise or would I have to custom pipe it? |

I agree with the ugly design. I have it and wished that I purchased the Type24.
The Type24 and 31 are almost the same in flow rate and pressure drop as well. I do not think that the type24 is too big for a civic. Check out www.turbocivic.net to see a picture of type24 in a civic. I think that it's on the picture archive.... |

I had my type 24 intercooler sitting in my room for almost a year now.... I will be puttin it in once i get my car back which should be in the near future.. I think it should be ok but once i get it in i'll let you know wat kind of pressure drop you get and wat gains to expect if any due to the pressure loss.
